My Students
I serve around 680 students in the computer lab. I work hard to instruct them about Internet safety, keyboarding skills, and many 21st century learning skills. All of these areas require the use of headphones at their personal computers.
I serve a variety of students.
Each student is usually eager to come to the computer lab. They are excited to learn how to use the computer to not only learn but communicate with others.
My school is located in a small community near Charlotte, NC. We have wonderful community support, however, due to funding cuts extra items are hard to purchase. Parents work hard to assist with items needed, but can't supply all request.
My Project
Headphones supplied will be used daily with all students. They will have reliable and fun headphones to use at their computer stations. All students at the school will utilize this project. The document camera and VGA cable will assist with lesson delivery and student presentations. They will be able to display their projects and collaborate in their learning.
If funded students will have reliable headphones to use to assist them with technology lessons.
They will be able to present their ideas to their classmates. The computer lab is also utilized for teacher professional development training, so teachers will benefit from items funded as well.
