During an average school day, our students spend about 15-20 minutes on some sort of online learning platform. Whether they are enhancing their grammar skill, listening to an audiobook, or creating study cards virtually, headphones have proven to be a great need!
On many online platforms, there is sound to reiterate what the instructions tell them to do.
Reading directions, giving tips, and read-aloud stories are some examples of this.
When the students do not have headphones, the class can easily get distracted by their neighbors computer, and it causes confusion.
I hope to surprise them with their own class pair of headphones soon!
