This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students utilize two programs each day to enrich their skills in both Math and Literacy. The headphones are typically recycled throughout the years and are often broken internally and/or externally.
At this time, we have about 10 working pairs between our classroom of 14 students, so we are often sharing headphones.
I would love for my students to each have their own dedicated pair of headphones that are in full working order. The programs they use daily require them to be able to hear the audio on the computer. If they are not wearing headphones, it will distract other students and their work. I also would like for the students to not have to share headphones, as it can be a sanitary issue. Your help with funding these headphones would be a major step forward in their learning!
