Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Latino and African-Americans. About 90% to 95% of them receive free lunch. They have special needs with varying disabilities ranging from developmental delay to other serious health impairments. These students range from 1st to 3rd grade, and they are truly amazing!

My Project

Remote learning is extremely challenging for any student with a disability. My students are very young (6 to 8 years old) and are facing various disabilities that add an extra challenge to this already cumbersome experience.

Using over-the-ear headphones will help them reduce the noise level around them and will help keep other distractions to a minimum.

This will help focus their attention so that they can concentrate in the multiple Google Meets they have throughout the day.

I believe these headphones will be an excellent tool for my students to use throughout remote learning.
