My Students
I am blessed to teach first grade! One of the best parts of my day is greeting my students first thing in the morning. Despite facing many challenges outside of school, our students come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and work hard.
Our school is a Title I school located in Washington State.
Every day, my goal is to create a safe and secure learning environment where students can foster a love and curiosity for learning. Our school community dedicates their time and energy towards a common goal — ensuring learning for each and every child.
My Project
Our school has already gained access to Moby Max and Reading A-Z applications for our classroom iPads. To best use these applications, my young learners need durable headphones to use with their iPads in order to listen to stories that will improve their literacy, as well as to listen to story problems and directions that will improve their mathematical skills.
Headphones will allow struggling readers to access and comprehend text based mathematical content.
With their headphones students who struggle with reading can listen to text based math problems, including story problems, and they will finally be able to show what they know!
