Headphones for Literacy

Help me give my students headphones to use while working on the computer.

My Students

My 2nd graders are enthusiastic learners who come to school looking for love, support, and the chance to learn more. As a title 1 school, most students come from low income families. They come with a lot of stress and we try to make school a safe and fun learning environment.

They are eager to learn and love exploring the environment around them.

They are highly motivated and enjoy using technology to help them learn. My students are so amazing!

My Project

Right now we do not have enough headphones for students to use when working on the computers. These will help them to be able to hear the instructions and follow along with their literacy activities without distracting those around them. Kid size headphones will also help students to be able to wear them correctly and work independently. They will provide assistance for those who need instructions in another language. My students would use these on a daily basis during our literacy time and they would be a great asset to our classroom. We have many computer programs that we would be able to use if children had headphones.
