I want my students to leave kindergarten with a love of school and a passion for learning.

I teach in a Title I school where 60% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. I have a diverse group that comes to school every day excited and ready to learn. For my students, school is a safe place where they can be themselves. They are creative, energetic, and keep me on my toes! I hope to encourage this love of learning in my students through engaging lessons, materials, and technology.

My Project

My kindergarten students need headphones for our iPads to improve engagement and reduce distraction during literacy and math rotations. Having developmentally appropriate headphones will provide many opportunities for my students to listen to fluent reading , build vocabulary, and improve their literacy and math skills!

My kindergartners desperately need developmentally appropriate headphones to improve engagement and help make us independent learners.

I have selected headphones with a comfortable padding that can be easily disinfected so that multiple students can share them throughout the day. They are also made for children so they fit appropriately and my students can focus on their learning! These high quality headphones will help us learn for many years to come!
