My Students

I am a teacher for an in-person first grade class. First grade is an important grade!

In first grade, students learn foundational skills in language arts and math.

In our classroom, we do have many different learning experiences: whole group, small groups, technology, and hands-on. It is so exciting to see students come into first grade with basic kindergarten skills and leave being able read, write, add, and subtract.

My Project

During instruction, I give students many different opportunities to learn while using technology. Most of the time we use technology in the classroom it is differentiated for each students academic level. Because every student is working on something different, it can become noisy and distracting in the classroom.

Having good headphones will help my students concentrate on their learning.

I plan to use these headphones daily and even multiple times during the day. Some of the programs that we use to supplement learning include: iReady, Lexia, and Savvas Realize.

I know my students will appreciate being able to use these headphones to concentrate on their differentiated learning in reading and math.
