My Students
Mrs. P and I share two amazing classes. Our classes are packed with enthusiastic students who are eager to learn and grow. Each has their own story of strengths and challenges, but they all desire the opportunity to gain the best learning that can be provided.
Each school day we gather to find new ways to engage in learning, and I have the opportunity of seeing them as they get a little closer to accomplishing their various dreams.
One of their favorite methods of learning is through the use of technology where the world can be opened at their fingertips.
My Project
Mrs. P and I are asking for headphones so that our students can use the technology in our classrooms more effectively. Each of our students is given the daily opportunity to increase their learning of basic math and language skills through the use of technology. This opportunity greatly blesses them because it allows them to learn at their own level, but it can also cause distractions when the entire class is trying to listen to their devise.
Headphones will enable our students the opportunity to stay more focused, while getting the instruction that will be most beneficial to their specific needs.
They will be able to use them while learning basic math facts on Reflex as a foundation to all other math, as well as when they are being challenged with new skills with a variety of other computer programs. The headphones will also be used when they are working Lexia- helping the students with their reading and phonics skills.
