This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a special education teacher who serves a high population of English language learners in Queens. This school year I will be serving 3rd grade students in an integrated co-teaching classroom. My classroom will consist of general education students and 12 students with disabilities. Many of my students are English language learners who benefit from educational applications such as iready, epic, and raz-kids to be successful in the classroom.
Furthermore, my special education students also benefit from these applications, especially during brain breaks.
These online applications are easily accessible with the use of headphones. Help my students receive individual headphones so they can be able to access online apps, therefore having a successful school year.
