My Students
My students are amazing. They come to school everyday and try their best. Some have never been to school before so its a big new experience for them. They are young and have a lot of obstacles to overcome but that does not stop them. It was very cold the other day and not many students showed up. When I asked one student why she came, she said, "I came to learn and be a better reader." They would be really appreciative of the donation.
My Project
My students are just beginning to learn letter sounds and how to put those sounds together to form words. These headphones will assist them in being able to read. We have some great apps and computer programs to make reading fun. The problem is they need to be able to hear them. The headphones that I have bought in the past have not lasted very long and I do not have the money to buy more at this time. They really love the different activities and miss not being able to do them. They can also use them for math activities.
