I work as a middle school literacy special education teacher in an urban school. I have students from all backgrounds and cultures. One thing that is consistent with all my students is that they all have learning disabilities or difficulties in some shape or form.
It is my personal goal to instill a lifelong love of learning into my students and to help them find ways to cope with having learning disabilities.
At the end of their year with me, it's my goal to have not only helped build their foundational skills but to have built their confidence with academics. All students CAN be successful, and my job is to teach that to my students.
My Project
My students use headphones extensively in the classroom, and unfortunately, that means that we burn through good pairs relatively quickly. Many of my current headphones are in a state where audio only comes out one side of the set, and several pairs have broken completely, leaving me with more students than headphones.
This project would allow my students to have working headphones that they can use for accessing their audiobooks and the software that they use almost every day.
The command hooks, in the order will allow us to store the headphones in a way that is easily accessible while also keeping the headphones neat, orderly, and safe.
