This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching science to my students because they have so much enthusiasm for the subject. I am so proud of my students because they work hard every day to reach their academic goals.
The headphones will help my students further their interest in science by allowing them to watch science related videos at their own pace in the classroom.
Every student learns at their own pace and headphones can help students with this by giving them the ability to watch and rewatch parts of a video they need more time on. I like incorporating videos and different visuals because it helps students conceptualize different scientific concepts. My students currently do not have headphones and it's really disruptive and distracting when students are playing videos out loud and all at the same time. A donation of headphones to my class will allow my students to watch science videos with no distractions and set them up to be successful academic scholars.
