Headphones for All!

Help me give my students headphones and adaptors to use with their iPads.

My Project

My students use their iPads every day when they come to me in the media center. Last year we upgraded to the newer model of iPads, so we also have to have an adaptor for them to use headphones. We need to use headphones when they work in small groups and when they do individual lessons. This year we are implementing a new Digital Citizenship program called Learning.com. The curriculum is gamified and students work their way through the curriculum by doing assigned lessons. As they complete lessons they can earn stars. Earning stars allows them to upgrade their avatar and go to the store or game center.

The students are very excited about the new Digital Citizenship curriculum.

However, our teachers do not have enough headphones to send their students to media. Without a class set of headphones, it is nearly impossible for them to complete their assigned lessons. We have tried spreading out among the media center with their volume turned down, but this has not worked.

By purchasing these headphones you will be helping our students be able to use their iPads more for their lessons as well as independent center stations. We will be able to keep this set of headphones in the media center and will no longer have to rely on teachers having to scrounge to find headphones to send when their students come to media for specials.
