Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology has made itself known in classrooms around the U.S. Ours is no different! We use engaging apps like Epic!, iReady Math, Reading A to Z to name a few. Each of these apps allows students to explore fundamentals through the use of interactive audio and graphics. Many of my students do not have their own set of headphones and that makes learning through these apps very difficult.

Individual sets of headphones provide equity in our classroom and allows each child to engage in their learning through the use of technology.

In addition to headphones, the need for copy paper in the classroom is great in my district. We are limited to the amount of copies we can make, which can impact planning and the spontaneous lesson that was sparked through student interest. These boxes of copy paper will provide a plethora of opportunity for my students to continue practicing their skills without restrictions on copy limits.
