This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 5th grade students are a very curious, energetic group, and they love to explore new topics. We are a Title I school in Utah with 70% of our students English Language Learners. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

My students currently do not have a class set of functioning headphones. We have about 5 pairs that work. In order for each student to be successful, they all need their own pair of headphones that work.

My students would greatly benefit from the headphones because they would be able to work on their own Chromebooks without being a distraction to others.

They would also be able to stay focused if there is a classroom disruption.

My ESL students would also benefit by being able to use the text-to-speech function on their Chromebooks. By donating to this project, you are helping my students become the best students they can be.
