My Project
The students in my classroom are eager to explore and learn about the world around them. Some of my students are nonverbal and use alternative communication methods which include core boards, devices, and picture prompts.
My students benefit from adaptive learning, which personalizes learning to their unique and individual needs.
One of those unique needs is the use of iPads for independent work time. The iPad allows them to use the touch screen to move items around and tap on items to answer questions. All 6 of my students also need the directions read aloud to them. As you can imagine, it gets quite noisy in the classroom. Which causes distractions and the students lose focus easily.
The headphones will allow my students to have the directions and words read to them with fewer distractions.
