My Project
I currently teach 3rd grade at a Title I school. Most of my students come from low income families and are reading one to two years below grade level. However, each day they come to school eager and ready to learn. I am trying to provide my students with headphones to use while they listen to books and listen to lessons to close their learning gaps. I'm also trying to provide incentives to motivate my students to do their very best. Our school has an online library and online reading resource to help close the gaps in students learning. Having 30 students listening to different books or lessons at one time can be overwhelming for the students and the teacher. Incentives will be used to motive students to pay close attention to what they are listening to and learning in the lessons.
Please help me give my students headphones and incentives so that they can decrease their learning gaps and increase their reading levels.
They will also be able to enjoy an audio book at the same time without disturbing each other.
