Headphones and Facemasks!

Help me give my students headphones to use during independent learning and facemasks to wear during the school day.

My Students

My students are simply the best! They are curious, creative, smart kids who are destined to be world changers. They come to school each day excited and ready to learn. They are huge fans of hands-on activities, inquiry lessons, and thinking outside of the box. I do my best to mix it up and provide them with lots of opportunities that will increase the engagement level. In my classroom, we like to have fun, learn and be creative.

My Project

I am looking to provide my students with headphones. These headphones will be paired with our Chromebooks and some of the programs that we use. A few of the programs have an audio component that we don't currently utilize because if all of the students played audio at the same time it would be impossible to concentrate. I have many students who would benefit from having a pair of headphones. For example, my lower readers would use them during state testing. The program that we use will read the passage to them allowing their brain to focus on the content of the passage and not sounding out the word.

Additionally, I have requested student disposable masks.

The school that I work for requires students to wear a mask unless their parent has stated otherwise. On a daily basis I hand out masks to students who need one and it would be nice to have a stash of masks to provide them on the days they forget or theirs break.
