Headphones and a New Way of Learning

My Students

I think my students are the best. It may be cliche, but they are a great group that has continued to grow and have little success along the way. In the area in which we live, being a Title One school, there are many students who go without the upgrades of technology. We have students who are dealt with difficult living and family situations. Giving them a new way of learning while they're at school can make a big difference in all aspects of their lives.

We've started technology-driven learning that students use every day in our school and district.

Students and kids in the community are constantly using technology to learn and grow, and what better place to use that knowledge than in the classroom. Using technology to the kids' advantage will only help them and encourage them to master the content on a learning level that they prefer.

My Project

I have had some older headphones on their "last leg." There are too many occasions each day when a few of my students will come to me and tell me that one of their headphones doesn't work or they can't hear out of one of the sides. The coding robots would be great for STEM interaction throughout the week.

Headphones are used more now than ever before!

Coding robots are something the kids can relate to now as they progress throughout their education—every day; we are doing different programs online that require active listening skills. When my kids aren't able to hear what the instructions are or can't understand what is being said, it creates frustration and learning blocks.

I hope to stay up-to-date with the latest headphones technology to make online learning simpler and coding robots for a more enjoyable learning experience for everyone in the classroom.
