Help me give my students headphones and a mouse to help make them successful in this 21st-century learning environment.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager learners! They enjoy learning new things and working together on projects and doing research. My students favorite subjects are Science, Math, and Language Arts. My students love using technology, however the problem is that students are missing headphones and a USB mouse to make it easier to access the curriculum.
Our school is located in South Central Los Angeles.
93% of our students qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. The new Common Core standards require students to be college and career ready. My students are academically enthusiastic and eager to learn, but a lack of technological resources in the classroom keeps them from being prepared to meet the challenges of a computerized world. Most of my students’ daily lives involve gangs, high neighborhood crime, and a lack of resources. Most of the students do not have a computer at home. There are many parents who work two jobs and are not able to provide the kind of academic attention at home that they would like. With a 65% English Learner population, there are parents who cannot provide the amount of help at home that their children need to fully access the curriculum.
My Project
Every student has their own chromebook to use for classroom assignments and for homework. Many of my students have a specific learning disability in the area of reading. In order to access the curriculum, they need the text to speech accommodation enabled. In class, it can be difficult for students to focus on what they are doing when all of the students are playing sound from their devices at the same time. Also, the students find it difficult to navigate the chromebook using the touch pad. Many of them make mistakes when trying to click with accuracy or with task that require them to click and drag.
With headphones and a mouse, each student will be able to focus and have access to the computerized curriculum.
As college students, they will need to know how to type papers, conduct research, present information. These skills are also necessary for jobs in human resources, the government, law, education, management, technology, and more. These accessory devices for the laptops will help change their future.
