Headphones and a Classroom Rug!

Help me give my students headphones, a classroom rug, and clorox wipes to sanitize the headphones!!

My Students

I am a first year teacher in a third grade class this year! My students were mainly doing school virtually last year, so my students are very excited and energetic now that we are back in person. I have 21 students in my class who are diverse in race, socioeconomic status, and in their personalities. Each of my students are so unique and fun and I have loved getting to know them in the first two weeks of school.

My students love to have class discussions, and I have so many active participants already!

I love having discussions in all subjects including math, science, ELA, and even about our class and school rules.

My Project

I have started using online programs including zearn and i-station in my classroom to provide differentiated instruction in math and ela, but these programs have sound and I cannot have all 19 students playing their audio out loud! Some of my students have their own headphones but I would love to provide them with a class set so that everyone can listen to their own audio! During computer time I let my students sit around the room and many of them enjoy sitting on the floor. The rug would be a great place for students to sit and work and it would also help us learn the 50 states! The clorox wipes will allow me to sanitize the headphones after each use! Thank you!!!
