Headphone Heroes

Help me give my students headphones to help with Blended Learning both in person and at home!

My Students

My students are passionate learners that are looking to deepen their knowledge of algebra. Our classroom is a safe and vibrant environment. Students consistently come to hang out in the math room during their lunch periods and after school.

They make the space warm and welcoming for all that enter.

Although many students come from low income households, they are rich in knowledge and kindness.

They are caring and compassionate, and they are looking to move on to AP coursework and college level classes in the near future.

My Project

Many of my students are coming in for blended learning 2 days a week. When they are here, sometimes they do not have headphones, and they cannot listen to the video lessons or participate well on Zoom.

Many of them share devices and headphones with siblings at home.

Therefore, providing students with headphones will help them be able to complete their assignments both in school and at home! This will allow them to connect with their peers via Zoom and fully participate in class discussions and virtual assignments. Students will no longer have to share with siblings at home and run the risk of missing out on important instruction.
