My students need headphones for our interactive notes on near-pod. They need to be able to listen individually and process content during live lessons. They also need good labs to reinforce key concepts in science.

My Students
My students are full of life, spunk and information. They are 21st century thinkers with questions about the world and every component of it. We serve kids of Camden, NJ. These students have interest in working in the STEM/ medical field.
On any given day students are engaged in discussion, working in collaborative groups, playing immune system chess, working in small group with the teacher or completing projects.
Students come ready to learn and they know that we push rigor and 100% participation. Students know I believe in them and they believe in themselves.
My Project
Headphones have been something my students have needed for a long time. Students have had to listen to the interactive videos simultaneously with other students which makes it confusing and distracting. Many do not have their own headphones so it would be great to provide them to the students.
Students love hands-on and interactive learning.
Having labs helps to reinforce concepts and get them closer to mastering the content.
I believe that these 2 things will prove to be extremely beneficial. Students are ready to give effort I would like to do my part by making it easier for them give 100%.
