My Students

Wrestling in the most diverse high school in the nation. Most of the kids we service come from colorful backgrounds and a good majority are low income. Our wrestlers come to us for many reasons, some come to us for supports they lack at home, some come to better themselves physically and emotionally, and some come to us to be great wrestlers. Over the years we have trained over 20 state champions and 2 national champions and with your help we will be able to reach even more.

My Project

I coach at the most culturally diverse high school in the nation. Most students come to us from families that struggle to get by. By being able to provide some of the protective equipment that is required by the sport I feel that you can help us make it easier to join our team by taking part of the financial burden of purchasing headgear required to participate away making joining our sport that much easier.

Wrestlers will use the headgear to help prevent what is known as cauliflower ear, a condition were the skin and tissue separate from the cartilage in the ear and fill up with fluid that can harden.

The Face guard will be used to protect anyone that has a face injury or that has a religious reason to not shave. The hair slickers will allow any of our wrestlers that have longer hair then is allowed to still participate.
