We are seeking support to create a calming area in our classroom where students can relax, reflect, and regulate their emotions.
This space will include a cozy book nook with added social-emotional learning books and a new shelf to organize them. Your donation will help provide our students with a safe and supportive environment to build emotional awareness, resilience, and self-regulation. We have littles with hearts full of love that sometimes have to work through really big feelings. There is a Hawaiian proverb that says, He keiki aloha nā meakanu (Beloved children are the plants). Our children need love and care to grow. With your help, we can create a peaceful place that nurtures both the hearts and minds of our learners. Mahalo nui loa for your kindness and support!
