My Project

I currently work at a high needs school where many of our students are credit deficient, struggling with social emotional skills, living in poverty and without the support of adults outside of school. We must first gain their trust before they are ready to learn and we do this in a variety of ways to create connections. Small rewards such a a piece of candy or sticker for a job well done go a long way. Snacks are necessary daily because many of our students rely heavily on the food they eat at school. Also, increasing my classroom library and with a variety of books and tools to create a fun and engaging environment will only increase the desire for our students to attend class. Help me make my classroom even more of an engaging and inviting environment!
