This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have faced some unfortunate circumstances this school year. Despite these circumstances, they have risen above and have demonstrated resilience. Speaking of rising above, on our most recent progress monitoring assessment, my students scored higher than the district’s average for several reading standards. I want to celebrate the hard work I see in class and on assessments with a luau party!
Our classroom will be transformed into a tropical paradise with these decorations and other luau items.
My students will enjoy reading and writing as they enjoy this tropical paradise. Thank you for your kind consideration.
