This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are sixth through eighth grade students who struggle with reading and math, specifically enjoying learning. Help them find ways to enjoy these subjects and find joy in learning.

The best way for my students to learn is by having fun.

This project is to support our classroom library with new books. By sharing new books, especially graphic novels, the students can find the joy in reading. Specifically with novels that they are interested in as well as ones that fit their reading level.

With math, many students need to find support and strategies to better understand mathematical operations. Using hands-on materials they can find a way to develop the necessary strategies and how to calculate on their own.
