Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are some experiments and activities that my students would like to perform in our science class. Some students mentioned they would like to see chemical reactions. Others would like to build (assemble) solar-powered devices. And why not? Therefore, I am planning to make the elephant toothpaste demonstration. Students can work on a safer endothermic chemical reaction (vinegar/baking soda) with less supervision. They will also enjoy other STEM activities that are focused on mathematical and spatial analysis competition (games and snake cubes).

Students will use snake cubes and math games as well as other requested materials for science experiments.

They will enhance their knowledge of chemical reactions and energy flow, and reinforce their spatial/mathematical skills.
