My students are in a low-income school district and they are talented and dedicated. I am a teacher and assistant coach in atTitle nine school. The students are faced with challenges inside the classroom as well as outside. In spite of challenges, I want to provide meaningful experiences in playing basketball to their full potential.
My students are very dedicated when it comes to playing basketball.
They spend hours practicing and preparing for their games. They are willing to put in the time to train for their games. We are supposed to have white uniforms
when we play away games and all we have are black.
My Project
It is necessary to have white uniforms when playing games that are away. Visiting teams are supposed to wear white uniforms. My team does not have white uniforms and the members have to
wear white t-shirts under their black uniforms.
Having the white uniforms will let the students walk out on the basketball court with confidence. They are very talented and are team players. They are willing to give their best when playing basketball.
Our school budget is very limited and does not have the funds
to purchase the white uniforms. Without the help of generous donors
we can't afford to purchase the uniforms. I need help in outfitting
