Help me give my students color handouts and test materials. Sometimes seeing color and contrast really makes the difference in identifying parts, diagnostics, and determining causes of failures in automotive systems. I have a printer, but need ink.

My Project
I was gifted a color printer by supporters of DonorsChoose. For this I am extremely grateful. As a result of this, my students have been able to have training and testing materials in color. Seeing differences in color can often aid in performing diagnostics, identifying parts, and quicker acquisition of technical knowledge. This is especially true in the automotive repair industry, which is the focus of my students' work. Since receiving the printer, I have been able to print color inpsection forms like those in professional shops. I have reproduced four-stroke engine diagrams in which color plays a vital role in determining which stroke the engine is on. My brake/suspension/steering students learn to identify various parts by examining prictures, looking for different coloring of corroded metals, leaks, and even textures-things that are hard to convey in grayscale. I now need resupply of ink in order to keep the printer turning out good training and testing materials. The cost of a full set of cartidges is greater than the annual allocation to classroom teachers of $300. This money is usually already used to cover other expenses, especially in my class. Thank you, in advance, for your continued support of my students.
