This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I will be providing Math interventions to students needing additional support in their classrooms. The use of manipulatives is important for modeling Math concepts so students will have a better understanding which ultimately leads to greater academic achievement. These manipulatives will help students improve on the Benchmark Assessments and in their everyday learning.
Math is important for everyday tasks, critical thinking, understanding the world, organization, and so much more!
Please help me create an environment where it is fun for students to learn Math. Games and hands-on manipulatives ease student anxiety when learning new concepts. My students would be so grateful!
