Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some students have a lot of sensory and physical needs being in a moderate and severe disabilities classroom. For some of our students with autism, it means that sometimes it can be difficult to sit in a chair at their desk or table when it is work time.
A chair with armrests will provide these students with a great sensory boundary.
Not only that, but they will be comfortable! This will help encourage my students to stay seated for longer periods during work time so that they can learn all that they can while at school.
