Help me give my students a memorable gift that they will always remember.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Marino's classroom raised $476

My Students
My students are fun-loving, enthusiastic, and eager to learn! My students are middle school students from great diversity from a low-income urban area with a large percentage of special needs students. Each year 90% of my students qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch. Because of limited funds, technology and supplies are almost non-existent in my classroom. Keeping the children motivated and connected to the world is an everyday challenge.
My Project
Eighth grade is such an important year. It is one where we reflect on the student's accomplishments during their elementary years. Mainly, it is one of maturing and anticipating what's to come. My students' future is before them and they have so many unanswered questions-especially now.
I have often referred to my students as a family, a team, one that will have each other's back and will help each other.
Please help me highlight this idea by presenting them with matching baseball caps with their school colors on them. Not only will this be a wonderful gift, but a very practical one.
This year would normally be filled with so many events. Field trips, carnivals, will be canceled. My wish is to transform this unprecedented time into one of happy surprises and strength. This project will certainly make this happen!
