This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Welcome to the world of sports medicine! Student athletic trainers go above and beyond daily to help their peers.
This group of talented and bright young students are the hardest working in our school.
These ladies and gentlemen are between the ages of 14-18 years old and are working towards a career in sports medicine. Daily they are practicing their skills in the athletic training room by taping, stretching and helping their peers with rehabilitation. During football season, these students attend all practices and games. They provide hydration to the team as well as work to ensure proper health care for all of the athletes.
My Project
These resources will help our student athletic trainers protect themselves against the elements! Often times, these students are outside for hours at a time covering practices and games. The sweatshirts will keep them warm during the winter months and the hats will keep their faces out of the sun year round! These resources will keep them comfortable and allow them to serve their peers even longer!
Donations to this project will reinforce the idea that athletic trainers are not only a vital part of any athletic team, but also that athletic trainers need to take care of themselves in order to be able to care for others.
