it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A few years ago, I borrowed an egg incubator and made my own little home for hatching chicks. That experience was so fun for my students, that I would like to hatch chicks again!
My students will learn about the life cycle of a chicken, where they live, and what it means to take care of baby chicks.
The incubator will keep the eggs warm, rotate them as needed, and be a safe space while students observe the eggs each day. The chick brooder will provide a safe home for the chicks after they hatch. This will keep them warm, be space for food and water, and will be open enough for students to observe the chicks.
