My project needs one incubator, one automatic egg turner and several fertile eggs.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. U.'s classroom raised $209
This project is fully funded
Hello! I am so excited to propose this project of hatching chicks in our middle school science class! My students come from the inner city and we can't wait to witness the birth and development of this common farm animal. I am the only science teacher in the school, so all students will have the opportunity to take part in this exciting event.
I am looking for a generous donor who could provide us with an incubator, an egg turner and some fertile eggs to hatch. The incubator and egg turner will be used for years to come-a gift that keeps on giving! The eggs will be hatched, the chicks studied and then given to a local farm outside of the city to grow up in a relaxing, safe environment.
Students will be required to use all of their science skills, such as observing, predicting, collecting data and drawing conclusions. They will also get to feel the responsibility of following the eggs to birth and taking care of the chicks once they hatch.
Thank you so much for helping us achieve this project!
