During the spring quarter, the third grade studies embryology which includes the life cycle of a chick. Throughout the 21 days of development the incubator is vital in the process.
The incubator we have selected for our embryology project has special features that include a circulation airflow system, external water port, built in egg candler, and an automatic egg turner.
Our goal for this project is to have the third grade students successfully observe the chicks as they develop over time and eventually hatch. Our students look forward to this project each year as they gain knowledge about this process.
