This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The pre-school children are between the ages of three to five years. They are bright, happy, inquisitive children who are eager to learn about the world around them. They love to draw, read books, and explore in the math and science areas. I have been fortunate to have so many wonderful children over the years.

My Project

I work in a Tier 2 preschool in Hartford. Due to budget cuts, we are not able to get the Lakeshore Learning materials that we have received in the previous years. These materials are important for fine motor and literacy development of young children.

Many of our students do not have these learning materials in their homes.

I want children and their families to feel comfortable coming to school, knowing they have the materials to succeed. With your help, we can give the children the materials they need to learn and grow! Thank you for your donations!
