This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our goal is to provide our talented Globetrotters with high-quality recorders, enhancing their musical journey both as a group and as individuals. With these instruments, students will embark on the exciting adventure of Recorder Karate, a structured program that not only teaches proper recorder techniques but also celebrates individual achievements.

The requested recorders will make a significant impact on their learning by fostering a sense of musical discipline and teamwork.

As students progress through Recorder Karate levels, they earn belts, proudly displayed on their recorders, signifying their mastery and dedication.

Our ultimate goal for this project is to cultivate a love for music and equip our students with a solid foundation in musicianship. The recorders serve as a gateway to broader musical understanding, facilitating an easy transfer of skills to other instruments. This initiative aims to broaden their horizons and empower them to explore diverse musical avenues.

What makes our Mary Castle Globe Trotters truly special is their passion for learning and their enthusiasm for music. By providing them with these recorders, we are investing in their potential and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Your support will not only help them become skilled recorder players but will also set the stage for a future where they can confidently navigate the world of music with a well-rounded foundation.
