This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Transitional Kindergarteners are hardworking, dedicated students. However, 6 hours of high energy learning activities and interaction with 24 other four year olds can make a youngster tired.
Let’s help them finish the day strong!
After lunch I schedule in some quiet time with soothing music to allow them to rest on mats and look at books or snuggle with a stuffed animal. These mats are washable and foldable and easily stored in their individual cubbies.
This brief downtime allows these kiddos to participate more fully and joyfully in afternoon activities. Thank you for your support in helping my students take on the rest of their day.
