My Students
I am a Resource Teacher with grades K to 6th. I love that my students range from all ages and all types of disabilities. I love it when they get what is being taught and can respond to questions.
I work with Special Needs Students.
My days are full of a variety of attitudes, behaviors, and anything else that may come with it. I try to set up room according to diagnosis and ability of the student that comes to my class.
My Project
These materials such as pencils, notebooks, and folders will be used at home and virtually with students. Having students keep their materials at their desk or home will allow less contact in the classroom. Students will not touch anyone's supplies but their own.
In a Special Education classroom it is hard to keep some students seated for long periods of time so I am hoping that the shape puzzles will keep them seated during their breaks and lunchtime.
All of these items will be a great help to our classroom.
