Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth grade students want to improve on their reading abilities. This project will enable my students to choose books that will match their interests and abilities. I am planning to purchase a variety of books, of different genres and levels, to encourage my students to read for pleasure. My current classroom library is outdated and has less interesting books.

This opportunity will allow me to upgrade and update books to my students desires and inspire them to improve their reading skills through free reading for enjoyment and vocabulary expansion.
