This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are hard workers with bright futures, but with all of their hard work they sometime forget to take care of their own social and emotional well being. One of their favorite past times is to express their inner Bob Ross through drawing and painting.
The ability to create art help support students in developing self-awareness and gives them an opportunity for self-expression and self reflection.
A Bob Ross event help in the library with real paint, brushes and canvases will allow our students the social and emotional support they need and build community with in the school.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
