My Project

My students need art supplies in order to express themselves creatively. Since COVID-19 funding for public education has decreased as inflation has caused school supply prices to rise. Often times, Fine Arts programs are the first to receive cuts. This year we have even more students and fewer resources. Please help provide my students with the supplies we need for Art Class.

Specifically, this donation will help my students create beautiful observational watercolor paintings of our courtyard on campus.

As well as a new pencil sharpener for our classroom as ours just broke and needs to be replaced. The pencil sharpener will help us throughout the year to sharpen pencils and colored pencils for a variety of different projects and sketches. The markers and colored pencils will help my students with their favorite Art activity, Sketch of the Week, where they do a different themed drawing every week to help improve their drawing skills. Drawing is a fundamental art practice. Students improve every year in their drawing abilities by participating in the Sketch of the Week drawings.
