My Students

I absolutely love teaching first grade, everyday my students remind me how much they all love learning and playing. I have an active, fun and caring group of kids.

My students are fun, inquisitive, active, hard working and love to have fun.

They deserve a good time if we are stuck indoors for recess. We all need a fun break from working so hard. In first grade we are constantly working! There is so much learn and do we look forward to recess and are

My Project

We often have indoor recess due to snow, rain or bad air quality days. Students are always looking forward to their recess. This is the time they can run around and not have to do school work! But several times every year bad weather forces us to keep our students inside during these times. This is difficult for the students and the teacher.

Students need to have fun, creative and exciting activities as a good replacement when outside recess is not possible.

I am requesting activities like big floor puzzles, stencils, dot paint, architect sets, and others. As a new teacher, I only have a few games for all my students to share. With winter just around the corner, we would love to add to our small collection to make our indoor recess days fun!
