My students need name tags for their cots, and technology items to help foster independence and differentiated learning styles.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. R.'s classroom raised $168
This project is fully funded
My Students
I teach Young 5s, which was unfortunately not an option on the list of grade levels for "DonorsChoose". Young 5s is designed to help children develop some of skills that are taught in both Pre-K and then Kindergarten, at the child's pace. We do this to better prepare the children for Kindergarten. I have 17 wonderful children in my classroom, with an 18th child that will hopefully be joining us soon.
Our class is; energetic, caring, and eager to learn.
They are always looking to explore new things, and meet new challenges.
My Project
Name tags will help our children to know which cot is their cot at Rest Time. This will help to foster a sense of accomplishment and independence. The children do well identifying the cots now, however, the paper name tags keep falling off of the cots. The tablets will enable us to differentiate student learning. Children in our class will be able to access various educational websites, and practice fine motor and literacy skills. This will address a variety of learning styles that we encounter in our classroom, and help enrich our children's learning experiences. This will help to prepare them for their upcoming educational careers.
