My Students

Every year our primary classes celebrate Dr. Seuss on his birthday. I am requesting items that my students will be able to use in our class such as pencils and erasers that have a Dr. Seuss theme for our celebration.

This year I am teaching a second/third grade combination class.

I am really enjoying my class. My new second graders are amazing, hardworking, inquisitive students. My third graders, all whom I have taught before, are independent, smart and amazing! How can I go wrong with this combination of students?

My Project

My students need various Dr. Seuss items such as pencils, bookmarks, light up points, erasers and memo pads. I have been challenging my students to read certain books. In March, I will give my students a list of Dr. Seuss books to read. If they read the books on the challenge list, they will receive the pencils, pens and memo pads as a reward. My students have been embracing these challenges and will love to get cool Dr. Seuss school supplies as a reward for reading.

I have enjoyed seeing my students being motivated with the reading challenges I have been giving them this year.

I would like to continue motivating my students until the last day of this school year, so I would love to reward them with materials they can use in the classroom
