Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and home lives. It sometimes affects them socially and emotionally. They mostly come from financially challenging homes.

Some come to school hungry and rely on school meals for nourishment.

Many of my students need to feel I am there for them which is something I strive to provide for them.

My Project

I want to supply my student with painting opportunities as well as a place to store and organize their art supplies. I would like them to have the opportunity to explore another art form.

Art time always makes my students happy.

They need art time to improve their engagement in school. Art is another medium some students enjoy and feel successful completing.

My students enjoy and love sharing their masterpieces with anyone who will give them attention. I also feel proud to display their work in the hallway so everyone can admire their creativity.
